Step 1
Make a new document 800x800px and fill the background with #202020. Now we are going to apply a Pattern Overlay.

Step 2
We are now going to make the main area where all the content sits. So create a new layer named 'main bg' and make a selection of 600x800px in the center of the document and fill with #0a0a0a. Apply an Outer Glow.

Step 3
Make a new layer named 'banner' and make a selection 600x220px at the top of the 'main bg' layer and apply a gradient from #121212 to #030303.

Step 4
We are now going to apply a nice shine to the banner. So create a new layer named 'banner shine' and make a selection of 600x110px and put at the top of your 'banner' layer and fill with #ffffff, Opacity at 20%, and set the Blend Mode to Soft Light.

Step 5
Now because the banner seems a bit boring at the moment, we are going to add some corner pieces to the banner. So make a new layer named 'banner corners' and make a 1x30px selection and fill with #ffffff, and another selection this time 30x1px and fill with #ffffff. Using the masking layer and gradient tool fade the edges. Duplicate the layer and move the corner pieces around the banner to the four corners.

Step 6
Add some text for your website's title. The font that I have used was Tschich, Regular, 36pt, Strong, #ffffff.

Step 7
Create a new layer named 'links bg' and make a selection of 600x40px under the banner (move it down one pixel by going Ctrl + Down Arrow Key) and fill with #040404. Create a new layer named 'links bg shine' and at the top of the 'links bg' layer apply a gradient from transparent to #ffffff, and set the layer's Blend Mode to Soft Light.

Step 8
Add some text for your links, the font that I used was Tschich, Regular, 18pt, Strong #ffffff. Create a new layer named 'links corners' and add some little pieces like we did back on the banner but without a face and a bit smaller.

Step 9
Create a new layer named 'content bg' and make a selection of 550x500px in the middle of your remaining area and fill with #040404. Create a new layer named 'content bg shine' and using the Pen Tool make a selection within your 'content bg' dimensions and fill with #ffffff, Opacity at 13% and Blend Mode at Overlay.

Step 10
We are now going to be adding our fill-in text, so for the subtitle the font that I used was Tahoma, Bold, 11pt, None, #ffffff. For the main text I used Tahoma, Regular, 11pt, None, #cfcfcf.
