Step 1
Create a new document 800x800px. Fill the background with a gradient from #3e4b51 to #4e5f66.

Step 2
Create a new layer named 'main bg' and make a selection using the Rectangular Marquee Tool of 610x610px at the top center of your document. Fill this layer with #ffffff. Add a Stroke blending option, and move the layer up a couple of pixels so that you can not see the stroke at the top.

Step 3
Create a new layer named 'top dotted lines' and put some dots 1x2px at the top of your 'main bg' layer, fill them with #c1c1c1.

Step 4
Create a new layer named 'banner' and put in an image that you like, I suggest something scenic or industrial. Crop it so that it is 600x150px.

Step 5
Create a new layer named 'banner strokes' and make a selection of 600x3px above and below of your 'banner' layer and fill with #c1c1c1.

Step 6
Now for the text in our banner. Create a new text layer and add in the design company's name, I have just made one up here, and also a slogan or something. The font that I have used for the title is Myriad Pro, Regular, 36pt, Sharp, #ffffff. The font for the extra text is Myriad Pro, Regular, 12pt, Sharp, #ffffff. I have added a Stroke to both text layers.

Step 7
Create a new layer named 'links bg' and make a selection of 550x20px using the Rectangular Marquee Tool 10 pixels below your 'banner strokes' layer. Fill the layer with a gradient from #dddddd to #f1f1f1.

Step 8
Create a new text layer and add in some text links. The font that I have used here is Arial, Regular, 11pt, None, #898787.

Step 9
Now we are going to be adding some fill-in text, so head over to lipsum.com and get some lorem lipsum text. Create a new text layer and add a header, the font that I have used for this is Arial, Bold, 14pt, Crisp, #5d5b5b. Add some content text, the font that I have used for this is Arial, Regular, 12pt, None, #898787.

Step 10
Create a new layer named 'images' and add some images of some photos that you have done, or latest images you have done - something along those lines, I have decided to add some thumbnails of some of my latest tutorials. We are now going to add a Stroke to this layer so that the images do not seem too lost.
