Step 1

Create a new document 400x400px. Fill the background with #1e1e1e. Create a new layer named 'base' and make a selection of 320x160px in the center of your document. Fill this selection with #1f382e.



Step 2

Add an Outer Glow to your 'base' layer.



Step 3

Create a new layer named 'brushes', set your foreground colour to #000000, and brush lightly inside your 'base' layer dimensions (you can do this easily by going Ctrl + Click the layer icon of your 'base' layer).



Step 4

Create a new layer named 'base shine' and using the Rectangular Marquee Tool make a selection of 320x80px at the top of your 'base' layer and fill with #ffffff, lower the opacity of the layer to 2%.



Step 5

Create a new text layer and add in your website / company's title, the font that I have used here is Myriad Pro, Regular, 30pt, Crisp, #ffffff.



Step 6

Now for your details, create a new text layer and add in some text about what your name, position, address, email and url is. The font that I have used here is Verdana, Bold and Regular, 11pt, None, #ffffff, Layer's Blend Mode: Overlay.
