Step 1
Create a new document 800x800 and apply a gradient from #e9eae6 to #ffffff on your background layer. Create a new layer named 'above banner' and make a selection of 800x15px using the Rectangular Marquee Tool at the top of your document, make a gradient from #343b3e to #525759.

Step 2
Create a new layer named 'banner' and make a selection of 800x100px under the 'above banner' layer. Make a gradient from #8cd707 to #7fc31c. Keeping the selection, create a new layer named banner brushes and set your forground colour to #ffffff and brush around with some abstract brushes, set your layer's Blend Mode to Overlay.

Step 3
Create a new text layer and add your website's title in, the font that I have used here is Verdana, Regular, 24pt, Crisp, #ffffff. Create another new text layer and add a motto or something at the bottom right of your banner, the font that I have used here is Verdana, Italic, 12pt, None, #ffffff.

Step 4
Create a new layer named 'banner shine' and make a selection of 800x60px at the top of the 'banner' layer and fill with #ffffff, lower the opacity of the layer to 7%.

Step 5
Create a new layer named 'title bg' this is going to be where we put the bread crumb of our current page. Make a selection of 800x30px under the 'banner layer' and fill with #525759. Create a new layer named 'title bg stripes' and keeping the selection, fill the layer with this pattern, lower the opacity of the layer to %2. Add a new text layer and add the bread crub of our current page text, I put 'home » company » about us', the font that I have used here is Verdana, Regular, 12pt, None, #929a9e and #ffffff.

Step 6
Now to add in our fill-in text for the main content, so add a couple of paragraphs of lipsum, the font that I have used here is Verdana, Regular, 12pt, None, #9c9b9b and #525759 (for links).

Step 7
We are now going to do the navigation box, so create a new folder (click the folder icon at the bottom of your layers window) named 'navigation box', create a new layer named 'bg' in your 'navigation box' folder and using the Rounded Rectangular Marquee Tool set at a Radius of 10 px, make a selection on the right and fill with #555a5c, add a Satin Blending Option to make it not so boring.

Step 8
Create a new layer named 'title bg' in your 'navigation box' folder and select your 'bg' layer (Ctrl + Click icon in the layers window), using the Rectangular Marquee Tool deselect from a little bit from the top downwards (see image), fill with #414547. Create a new layer named 'title bg stripes' in your 'navigation box' group and keeping the selection fill with this pattern, lower the opacity of the layer to %1. Add some text title, the font that I have used is Verdana, Regular, 16pt, None, #ffffff, and some text links, the font that I have used is Verdana, Regular, 12pt, None, #bababa.

Step 9
Lastly we are going to do the footer. Create a new layer named 'footer bg' (outside of your 'navigation box' group because it's not to do with that...) and make a selection of 800x70px at the bottom of the document. Add a gradient of #555a5c to #414547 in the selection. Add a new text layer and add in some copyright information, and the font that I have use for this is Verdana, Regular and Bold (for the link), 11pt, None, #bababa and #7fc31c (for the link).
